What is SEO (Search Engine Optimization)?
In summary: The way to find a website, if you don’t know specifically its domain, (tasiosdesigns.gr) is to search through search engines (e.g. Google). SEO (Search Engine Optimization) – Content Optimization, includes all those actions by which a website will appear higher than others in the search results.
What is SEO?
The term SEO (Search Engine Optimization) refers to the process of attracting more visitors through the organic results in search engines such as Google, Bing etc. The purpose of any search engine is to provide relevant results to the search performed by each of their users. Thus, they take care to sort their websites through an algorithm that includes hundreds of different factors in order to display in “order of priority” the results that are most relevant to the search made by each user. The above sorting process refers to the organic search engine results and is quite different from the paid advertising results that also appear in them.
What are organic and advertising results?
When you do a search on Google (e.g. Website Design) it will show you a large number of results. The results can be divided into two categories “Paid or Promotional” and “Organic” (donated). The first results that will appear with the “Advertising” tag will be for websites that have paid for a certain amount of time and a certain number of clicks to their page. The next results ( usually below Google my Business) are the organic results and are the ones to which all SEO tactics are applied to gain a higher ranking.
